Founder and CEO

Greg founded Overwatch Imaging in 2016 to enable aircraft and unmanned aerial systems to more easily and automatically find small objects of interest.  Prior to that, he worked as the director of product management and business development for Cloud Cap Technology, a UTC Aerospace Systems (now Collins Aerospace, part of Raytheon Technologies) company, and as a program manager at Insitu, a UAS company acquired by Boeing.  At Insitu, he led the development of the RQ-21A Blackjack (also known as Integrator) unmanned aircraft for the US Navy and managed several ScanEagle technology advancement projects and overseas deployment contracts.
Prior to Insitu, he worked on space-based classified remote sensing systems for Lockheed Martin, and on aircraft and spacecraft simulation for NASA.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Gorge Technology Alliance, a regional industry consortium representing one of the leading airborne information technology hubs in the world.  Greg earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics, both from Stanford University, and he is an instrument-rated private pilot.


Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Nick is the lead system design engineer at Overwatch Imaging.  He is a client-focused product manager, mechanical designer and field-experienced imaging system operator.  Prior to Overwatch Imaging, he worked extensively with the TASE video gimbal payloads at Cloud Cap Technology, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies. He helped develop the TASE400 EO/IR video imaging system and associated aircraft mounts and auxiliary equipment before spending 12 months as a deployed imaging system subject matter expert in Afghanistan and elsewhere.  In that role, he worked directly with operators, maintainers and intelligence teams using airborne surveillance systems in mission-critical environments. After supporting the successful transition of the TASE product line into full-rate production, he took on a senior product management role, and was responsible for the product roadmap and exploring new application areas.

Prior to Cloud Cap, he worked in a number of different aviation industry roles, with Boeing UAS subsidiary Insitu, jet composites-maker Richmond Aircraft, air cargo logistics provider Evergreen International Airlines and an aviation composites supply company he founded and managed through college.  Nick holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, where he actively participated on the rocket design team and the design-build-fly competition.

Vice President of Product Operations

Rachel joined the Overwatch Imaging team in 2019, with a focus on successfully executing customer contracts and product innovation.  Rachel is driven by leading high-performing teams to solve complex emerging application challenges.  Prior to joining Overwatch Imaging, she was the Chief Systems Engineer responsible for development of autonomous systems at Insitu, a subsidiary of the Boeing Company.  In that role, she was responsible for ensuring the ScanEagle and Integrator/Blackjack Unmanned Aerial systems met both the customers' needs and the company's long-range strategic business objectives.

Prior to Insitu, Rachel worked at Lockheed Martin developing space-based solar telescopes for NASA.  She was responsible for specification development of all the optical components of the Solar X-Ray Imager and the Solar UltraViolet Imager deployed on the GOES satellites.  Rachel is a lifelong learner and has earned a Master of Engineering degree in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Systems from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, and a Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University.
