Overwatch Imaging expands presence in APAC with Korea partnerships and sales

Hood River, Oregon:  August 12, 2025 — Overwatch Imaging, a global leader in automated airborne imagery intelligence, is expanding its global customer base in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region through a new sales partnership with South Korea-based OQ Solution and the sale of three flagship TK-8 Smart Sensors to be fielded by Korea Forest Aviation (KFA).

KFA will leverage the multispectral TK-8 Smart Sensors, powered by Overwatch Imaging’s Automated Sensor Operator (ASO) software, to strengthen the nation’s wildfire and disaster response efforts with real-time intelligence, wide-area search and mapping, and AI-driven detection capabilities.

TK-8 Smart Sensor by Overwatch Imaging is an industry gold-standard for wide-area wildfire and disaster imagery intelligence. The 11kg payload features onboard mission software and edge computing as well as imagers in visual, NIR, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR spectral bands.

The TK-8 Smart Sensor is an autonomous, multispectral imaging system that enables wide area intelligence collection, real-time detection of wildfires and hot spots, precise high-resolution mapping, and monitoring of evolving disaster conditions without the delays of downstream data processing and analysis.
